Vermeer Iowa and N. Missouri has been a family owned and operated business since 1960. Currently managed by second generation owner Rick Boat, the company is managed out of our dealership in Pella, IA, which is conveniently located across town from Vermeer Manufacturing. Vermeer Iowa & N. Missouri boasts five other locations in Iowa:

• Our Marcus location in Northwest Iowa, managed by Mike Scholten;
• Our Tipton location serving Eastern Iowa, managed by Brandon Waddingham;
• Our Glenwood Service Center serving our Western Iowa and Northern Missouri Customers, managed by Anthony Smothers;
• Our dealership in the capitol city of Des Moines, serving the Metro & Central Iowa, is open for all your sales, parts, and service needs.  It is managed by Josh Hengstenberg; and
• Our newest full-service dealership in Charles City, serving North Central Iowa.  It is managed by Austin Bucknell.

Established in 1979, KLK Construction has become a recognized leader in the utility construction field, and a loyal Vermeer Iowa customer. Located in Pella, Iowa, KLK has built rapport within the communication cable construction market by promoting safety and dedication to their work and jobsites, and Vermeer Iowa has been an integral part of their success. Most recently, they purchased a D9x13 Series II Navigator^®, a D20x22 Series II Navigator^®, a D24x40 Series II Navigator^® HDD, and a P185 Renegade^® from Vermeer Iowa – Add in a vacuum, trailers, mixing systems, and locators.

“Vermeer Iowa provides great service and our employees all prefer, especially with the boring machines, to use Vermeer,” said KLK Construction President Luke Pringle.

KLK employs a number of drill operators and foremen. Dustin Nichols has been with the company for seven years, working as a drill operator and is currently a foreman.
